Lots of deciding!

I have decided after spending some time alone today that I need to learn how to let things go rather than constantly hold on to them. It eats me up inside when I hold on to things and I just don’t want to live like that anymore. Sometimes people will do or say things that hurt someone else and they don’t even realize it. I am sure that I am guilty of that also, no matter how hard I try not to be.

I have also decided that I need to eat healthier and drink more water. I did some looking online for a food pyramid. My plan was to print of a blank pyramid and make lines in each group dividing it into sections to represent the servings that you are supposed to have each day. Well I found one that was already done for me, and guess what… It was for a third grade class! It makes me sad that I want to do something that they teach you in the third grade… I guess its better for me to do it now rather than not do it all.

I am trying to become more active and get Janice out and about more often. We went to Grants Farm the other day and that was alot of fun. We fed the goats bottles and saw a few shows. The park itself was free so that was nice. Janice had a blast and is still talking about how she saw an elephant blow up a balloon and play the harmonica! That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen! I have decided that I am going to start the video The 30 Day Shred from Jillian Michaels. All of the reviews say that it is amazing and that you really do loose the weight and get into shape. You are supposed to loose 20 pounds in 30 days. I will take some before and after pictures, but only post them if they work! Janice will do them with me, not the right moves I am sure but I know that she will love to bounce around in the living room with mom!

I have been doing a lot of blog searching lately, just for fun. I have noticed a common theme in many of the blogs that I have visited. Each blogger seems to participate or host a different ‘game’ one day a week. For example, Crock Pot Tuesdays (I have actually seen one for every day of the week), Thankful Thursdays, Menu Plan Monday (my guilty pleasure), Weekend Wednesdays, Frugal Fridays….etc etc etc so I was wondering what you thought of these and if you participate in any of them.

I worked on my studio today and my sister asked me how my “personal challenge of the day” went and I really liked that! I am going to try and give my self a Personal Challenge of The Day EVERY day. You can feel free to participate if you want to but my goal is to get them pretty personal! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the Personal Challenge of the Day!
